Il Distretto Sociale B comprende 23 Comuni della Provincia di Frosinone: Amaseno, Arnara, Boville Ernica, Castro dei Volsci, Ceccano, Ceprano, Falvaterra, Ferentino, Frosinone, Fumone, Giuliano di Roma, Morolo, Pastena, Patrica, Pofi, Ripi, San Giovanni Incarico, Strangolagalli, Supino, Torrice, Vallecorsa, Veroli e Villa Santo Stefano; si tratta di uno degli Ambiti socio-sanitari maggiori del Lazio per popolazione e numero di Comuni. Il Distretto è attualmente regolato da una Convenzione sottoscritta ai sensi dell’art. 30 del D. Lgs. n. 267/2000 e finalizzata alla gestione associata delle funzioni e dei servizi socio-assistenziali integrati. La mission dell’Ambito è infatti l’attuazione a livello locale del sistema integrato degli interventi e dei servizi sociali, attraverso la gestione tecnico-amministrativa ed economico-finanziaria di un processo ampio e complesso distinto in fasi (programmazione, realizzazione, monitoraggio e verifica). Il Distretto persegue la sua mission istituzionale dando attuazione al Piano Sociale di Zona che rappresenta lo strumento di programmazione dell’intero sistema di welfare locale.
